“TrueStory” is the true story of Matteo.

The narrative begins in 2004, when Matteo and Giovanna sought intervention from the Italian State through numerous reports; however, the case files were lost within the Prosecutor's Office. A year later, they discovered that a magistrate had produced false statements, leading to a formal complaint filed with the Naples Prosecutor's Office. Investigations were subsequently transferred to Perugia, while further files were opened in Florence and Pescara. However, the judicial machinery stalled, and the entire burden of responsibility was left to fall solely on their shoulders.

As a result, they found themselves homeless, immersed in an ocean of defamation specifically orchestrated to prevent them from obtaining justice. National media outlets have remained silent.

Faced with the impossibility of obtaining justice in Italy, the case has now been brought to the attention of the competent international bodies.

Il racconto ha inizio nel 2004, quando Matteo e Giovanna richiedono l'intervento dello Stato italiano attraverso numerose segnalazioni; tuttavia, i fascicoli vengono smarriti in Procura. Un anno dopo, scoprono che un magistrato ha prodotto false dichiarazioni, dando luogo a una denuncia presso la Procura di Napoli. Le indagini vengono successivamente trasferite a Perugia, mentre altri fascicoli vengono aperti a Firenze e Pescara. Ma l'ingranaggio giudiziario si blocca e tutte le responsabilità finiscono per gravare unicamente sulle loro spalle.
Si ritrovano così a vivere senza fissa dimora, immersi in un oceano di diffamazioni orchestrate precisamente per impedire loro di ottenere giustizia. I giornali nazionali mantengono il silenzio.

Di fronte all’impossibilità di ottenere giustizia in Italia, il caso è stato ora portato all’attenzione dei competenti organismi internazionali.
